Our Savannah Folk Music Society has a mission to keep traditional folk music alive and to highlight current singer songwriter's music. Out band -- a soon to be retired "want to be kids again" group would like to perform Jar of Hearts at the next Folk Music meeting. We meet once a month in a l,ocal church -usuallu the aaudience is about 125.. --and feature local performers and anyone else who wants to play for nothing...We would also like to do a cover on our web site when we get it up and running. Of course we give credit to the composer and performing artist How do we get permission from the artist?

"I wish I had missed the first time that we kissed but you broke all your promises" makes me think of the first time I used and how it ruined my life. "So dont come back for me, dont come back at all...WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!!!" this part is for the drugs......
Thanks to the grace of God and me being so strong, I am happy to say that I have been clean from heroin since August 2009!!!

someone shared Sad with me on Facebook. It immediately reminded me of my 2 granddaughters who lost their father in Iraq. I believe that the right words in a song and the way you sing helps to be able to let go with our own emotions, which in turn leads to healing...You are an angel.
