ahh! today!! lovestrong day is over. + it was epic.
its kind of amazing how emotional making an album is…. and kind of even more amazingly emotional releasing it into the world. everyone is listening + judging + praising or ripping apart my work… words… melodies… sounds...songs… + stories. some people get it and some dont. it so scary… but its so rewarding too. there is this little 15 year old girl inside of me who is jumping for joy. she's screaming "we did it christina!!!! we cried those tears for a reason! he broke our heart for a reason! we wrote these songs for today… for may 10th 2011!!! we did it. its all okay now!!" there is also the 24 year old girl inside of me jumping just as high screaming "we did it! + it doesn't matter who likes it + who doesn't! we worked so hard for this! we are so lucky to get to wake up and do this everyday!! thank you for making this!! thank you for not giving up on yourself!!!!"
i am so happy to give you lovestrong.

Saw you with James blunt in San Francisco an Reno. Thought you were awesome. Bought your album the day it was released. It's so rare to find an album where all the songs you love.
Only downside of you releasing your album is it kept you from us in Vancouver!! You were missed by many of us but I'm sure we all share the joy of your dream coming true!!! Bravo to you and the guys with you! The energy that You, Jenni, John and Elmo brought to the James Blunt tour was amazing. Not to mention that Beautiful redheaded fireball of energy manager! My God is she on the move!!

Christina, you are such an inspiration to me. I will not give up on myself and my dreams. One of my dreams is to one day open up for you, so hopefully that will happen one day! :D All of your songs are beautiful and they each tell their own little story, and they're all amazing! I hope that one day I can make an album as epic as "lovestrong." is! Thank you so much for doing what you do and for being someone I can really look up to!

I gotta tell you this: U made it n u gotta enjoy it! Cant tell you how touched I felt after listening to Jar of Hearts...I couldnt stop myself from lookin up the rest of ur songs online, then joining your website. What makes a girl like me, from Egypt, look for your songs the same day I hear u at a friend's for the first time, says that for sure you got what it takes. I cant stop listening to the entire CD! It just fits me so perfectly! You seem like such an amazing person who will never change who they are. It reminds me so much of myself and inspires me to become something more. I love your songs, i love your style, your tattoos , your videos. Its amazing to have an artist to look up to that you look up to and relate to in so many ways!
