ahh! today!! lovestrong day is over. + it was epic.
its kind of amazing how emotional making an album is…. and kind of even more amazingly emotional releasing it into the world. everyone is listening + judging + praising or ripping apart my work… words… melodies… sounds...songs… + stories. some people get it and some dont. it so scary… but its so rewarding too. there is this little 15 year old girl inside of me who is jumping for joy. she's screaming "we did it christina!!!! we cried those tears for a reason! he broke our heart for a reason! we wrote these songs for today… for may 10th 2011!!! we did it. its all okay now!!" there is also the 24 year old girl inside of me jumping just as high screaming "we did it! + it doesn't matter who likes it + who doesn't! we worked so hard for this! we are so lucky to get to wake up and do this everyday!! thank you for making this!! thank you for not giving up on yourself!!!!"

OMG that rocks! got 2 listen 2 it!!!!
Over the last few weeks, My 10 yr old,7 yr old & 4 yr old girls turned me on to the song Jar of Hearts from utube, itunes somewhere they found it. Kept hearing them sing it together, gathered around the computer and they never do anything together but fight! I promised I'd find it for them on CD. The day I googled it-the CD came out in stores. I ran to the nearest FYE for the cd! Got 2 copies One for them and one just for me! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Congrats on all your success. The hard work has paid off and we wish you lots of fun, love, peace and happiness for your future and career.
I REALLY love the Lovestrong album. Im only 12 but I feel like Jar of Hearts really relates to a relationship I was in before. Thanx 4 everything!
Genius album. Right up there with the greatest albums of all time. Gets twice as good every time I listen to it, because there's just so much that went into it that you can't catch it all until you've heard it several times.

I just got Lovestrong on 5/12 from Target and it true is awesome!! I enjoyed listening to it all the way home from shopping and I'm glad that the Universe put you on this amazing path so that the rest of us can enjoy your music. I hope that you come to Virginia so that I can see you in concert :)
