i am so grateful for everything today!
i am so grateful for my amazing family and team who plan everything for me. they plan around my weaknesses and my strengths, and help me do everything i need to do. im so grateful they have patience with me and love me more than i know sometimes. im so grateful for everyone doing their best. im so grateful for trusting my gut and getting the scariest surgery ever, but believing i would be better than ever when i healed. im so grateful for 6 weeks later being back on the job and singing for first time with my new vocal chords today on the biggest daytime tv show in london:

im so grateful that i worked so hard to be able to sing again with a whole other team and we did it. im so grateful that i get to talk about twilight as my job. im so grateful i dreamt big enough to have that dream come true. im so grateful for the topshop in london that is 4 stories of epic amazingness and for getting my mind blown and a new fall wardrobe. im so grateful for joey rubino, period… and for having dinner with his darling sister. im so grateful for jogging tonight right past royal albert hall and dreaming of playing there one day. im so grateful that i get to do this. im so grateful for everyone who believes in me and my little love songs.
and tonight im most grateful for my man, johnandersson, who i left at home. i couldn’t love or miss him more. we sacrificed sharing the stage together to share true love instead. tomorrow will be our official one year anniversary of being best friend soul mate penguins. i am so grateful to him for riding my crazy emotional love roller coaster, and loving me unconditionally, anyway.
and lastly tonight, as i lay my head on the pillow, i will finish my gratitude list… with… you.

I'm so grateful for my dearest love, my girlfriend. I don't know if Christina will see this, but I'll address it as if she will. I'm willing to risk the jokes and jabs that may come from posting this here, so... Your album has touched both of us so very much; it seems to have been written to cover our ten year on and off again relationship from meeting, to becoming best friends, to realizing we are madly in love with one another - sometimes far apart in distance, but never far from each others hearts. Every song speaks to something we've experienced together or because we were apart. Thank You! So, I look to you for help. I would love to give her a proposal to marry me that is just as amazing and wonderful as she; something she can tell our children and grandchildren, our family and friends of, proudly and joyfully. I would like to take her to one of your concerts, and propose to her there, on stage, taking in the music that has come to mean so very much to us. I know this may be a pipe dream, and I've been told I'm a hopeless romantic, but I MUST find out there is the smallest of chances that this could happen for us. We live in Florida but could travel most anywhere in the U.S. to see you. If this post isn't seen by Christina, I ask that whomever does see it be charitable enough of heart to forward it to her or whomever could help make this a reality. I'm grateful for people who follow their dreams, because sometimes they give us music that changes our lives.
I'm grateful that I was there at the Water Rats Theatre to see your first UK show and that your voice sounded so good after the surgery. Thank you so much for arranging this show, my daughter and I had a lovely day out. (The last time I was in London was Jan 22nd which was the day that I heard Jar of Hearts for the very first time on the radio when driving home). Love jt.
