What do you like to do on a rainy day?
ahh i love rainy days! especially in LA cause they never happen. i love to not leave the house + listen to the rain in bed or hang out with someone i love + watch movies or read books or play piano...then take a nap and do it all over again.
What all went into the composition of "Jar of Hearts?" How did the notes evolve?
hm... i wrote jar of hearts originally on guitar and i dont know how the music happens, it just happens... i wrote the lyrics at the same time. i usually just start going, realize i have a good idea, videotape it so i dont forget, then go back and write out whatever i was singing about... its always a blur looking back

When is your album coming out??!
asap!! im gonna release music this year for sure! it's gonna be a live audio/video preview of the album, but the full length wont be out til earliest feb of 2011... i cant rush the birth of my child :) but i promise im working hard on it everyday!

I just wanted to know what advice would you give to someone who want's to be a singer?
my advise to everyone + anyone would be to not give up when its hard, to believe in yourself. you get to have whatever life u want to have. dont get stuck. get up + go for it. no one else is going to help your dreams come true other then you. be a good person. be kind. do stuff for other people + stuff will happen for you. be brave + sing your ass off!!!! :)

Your music is amazing, breath taking to be perfectly honest. I am really enlove with jar of hearts because it hits home.. My six year old has it memorized...I would love to hear you in person/ Sadly I have never been to a concert in my thirty odd years...and can afford to :( but I will be watching for more on youtube ect...Keep rockin!
